FIRST ALIFEST ANNOUNCED! Drop of Light make a splash! is the name for the news article that was written straight after the television broadcast on Manestralia Channel 5. Where the Early Morning VS Late Night Alifest was announced.
Manestralia was left in confusion today after the surprise broadcast from Prince Covet Dawndrop and Prince Stardew Serandite. Consisting of a concept known as an 'Alifest'. Specifically announced during the lunch hours of the day, many were tuned in and as such, many more-so seemed confused; rather than excited.
The lunch hour seemed to start normally for most ponies within Manestralia today. Many going about their lives and doing what they needed to do. Whether it was to eat, to relax or to travel, no-pony expected what was to come next. When television screens on all channels, say for Manestralia Channel 5, flickered to MC5's (Manestralia Channel 5 for short) broadcasting signal many saw the sight of a strange logo on the television screen. With an upbeat startup jingle. Which then transitioned into the continent seeing Prince Covet Dawndrop and Prince Stardew Serandite in oddly casual attire.
When the pair spoke on this television broadcast, it was soon announced that an event known as an 'Alifest' was to be held during the 7th August, to the 9th August. Coincidentally, the start date landed on Prince Covet Dawndrop's birthday. Leading some to think that this was a birthday celebration of sorts. The 'theme', as the Prince's referred to it as, happened to be about lifestyle choices. Choosing between the team known as 'Early Morning', and the team known as 'Late Night'. The Prince's then decided to argue for both of their team's until they were visibly annoyed with eachother. Which seemed awkward, for most.
After the broadcast ended, we headed straight for the headquarters of Manestralia Channel 5, located across Coltney from our own base of operations. Having seen the interview from Groovy Flow, renowned reporter in the MC5 arsenal, we were able to have her comment on what exactly she saw, before she headed out of the studio for a 'special broadcast' about the aforementioned broadcast. She commented, giving her thoughts. Saying "It was really strange to hear as it aired. If this was the special surprise they mentioned in my interview with them, they really should do another interview with me to further clarify what it is." which, many of us at Coltney Telegraph would like to see.
In conclusion to this confusing fiasco, many can agree that further details and information needs to be given to us before they're on board with such a new, and foreign idea. If the two Prince's can properly navigate these waters, and guide the metaphorical boat of confused passengers properly, we could see this concept take off into continental recognised fame. But, if they can't, then this will be an embarrassment to the royal family. We can only hope that the two Prince's know what they're doing. For their sake, as much as ours.
